Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Home Comfort Connect website, quote forms, contractor portal, or any related service (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is a lead-generation and referral platform that connects homeowners and property owners with independent, licensed HVAC professionals. Home Comfort Connect is not a contractor and does not perform HVAC work.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By submitting a quote request, you confirm that you own the property or are authorized to arrange service for it.

When you submit a quote request, you agree to provide accurate, current information about yourself, your property, and the service you need.

Submitting a request does not guarantee service, availability, or pricing. We share your details with a contractor in your area so they can contact you and provide an estimate. The contractor, not Home Comfort Connect, sets the final scope, price, and schedule.

You agree to be contacted by phone, email, or text about your request, and may opt out of further contact at any time.

Contractors apply to join the network and must provide truthful license and insurance information. Home Comfort Connect may approve, suspend, or remove contractors at its discretion.

Before receiving leads, a contractor must sign the platform commission agreement through their dashboard. Leads are assigned at the platform’s discretion based on service area, availability, and capacity.

Contractors agree to report the completed job value and provide proof of payment before commission is settled. The platform commission is 10% of the reported job value on completed work. Contractors are solely responsible for their own licensing, insurance, taxes, and the quality of the work performed.

Home Comfort Connect is a referral service only. We do not employ, supervise, or control the contractors, and we do not warrant the quality, safety, legality, or results of any work they perform. Any warranty on services is provided solely by the contractor that performs the work.

Quote requests through the website are free to homeowners. Contractors pay a commission to Home Comfort Connect on completed jobs as described above. Homeowners pay the contractor directly for any work performed; Home Comfort Connect does not collect payment for services rendered.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Comfort Connect is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Service or from the acts or omissions of any contractor, including property damage, personal injury, delays, or incomplete work. Your sole remedy for issues with performed work is with the contractor.

You agree to indemnify and hold Home Comfort Connect harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your quote request, your provision of inaccurate information, or, for contractors, the work you perform and any failure to meet licensing, insurance, or commission obligations.

The Service may link to or integrate third-party tools and websites (such as calendar providers or analytics). Home Comfort Connect is not responsible for the practices or content of those third parties, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

Contractors and administrators access the Service through individual login credentials. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Contractors may stop using the Service at any time, but outstanding commission on completed jobs remains due. These Terms survive termination for any provisions that by their nature should survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
